Please pray for JoAnn, Judylyn and myself as we run for Gawad Kalinga tomorrow at 6 am until probably 8:20 or so. Pray that we will be safe from any injuries and that we will have the endurance to finish the half marathon. All for the glory of God! Thanks so much and God bless!

Please pray for my Tita Doris who left this world in God’s friendship. She passed away last Friday after suffering from asthma attack. I also ask you to include in your prayers the loved ones she’s left behind especially my 3 cousins and my Tito Angelo.

May the perpetual light shine upon her, O Lord.
    May she rest in peace.

    Thank you and God bless,
    Bel

Brothers and sisters, I ask you all to please pray for my very dear friend Riza Cao Pinaga. Her OB-Oncologist found a mass on her left ovary which is suspected as ovarian carcinoma. Unfortunately, Riza has been feeling pain on her left side for over a year now because when she had her hysterectomy, the doctor said that she would be dealing with pain due to her damaged bladder. Her next appointment is on Thursday (April 24). Naturally, she’s quite anxious about this whole thing. She needs our support in thoughts and prayers. She, her family and I appreciate it.

    With love and prayers,
    Bel

Spirit of the Living God, we affirm your presence here.
Spirit of the Living God, we affirm your power here.
To heal us and to deliver us
To fill us and to change us, Spirit of God….

Hi! Thought I’d begin with the song that’s been speaking to me all week long. Needless to say, my test result was very much what I wanted to hear — it’s NOT Cancer! (according to my CA-125 blood test.) Praise God!

However, I still have to go under the knife to remove my left ovary because I have a 7 cm cyst which could twist my ovary (ovarian torsion). My doctor delayed the surgery in July, after my trip, but he warned me that if I experience severe abdominal pain, I’d have to undergo surgery urgently. I’m hoping that wouldn’t happen while I’m in the Phils. (since it’s like undergoing Ceasarean surgery — 1 month recovery time) so I’m still asking you to include me in your prayer intentions.

(I’d like to end this with some more lyrics… ala-background music)
…to rest on us and to empower us
To work through us and to reveal in us,
    Jesus the King.

    Take care and God bless!

    Lovingly yours ;-),
    Riz

Please include my husband in your daily prayers, he is scheduled to have surgery on May 30 at 9:30am for esophageal cancer. This is a very rare disease making the surgery a difficult one but we have always trusted in the Lord that he is going to come out of it healthier than he used to be.

“Almighty God, You are the Master Healer and the Miracle Worker, nothing is impossible with You. My children and I lift up to You my husband, that You will continue to be his strength and guide in dealing with his condition at this time. May his faith and trust in You grow more stronger as ever. We also lift up to You the team of surgeons and their medical staff to be Your instruments for healing. May You be their wisdom and guide throughout the surgery.

O’ Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of God, you have abundantly showed us your love and care, please continue to intercede for us for the success of the surgery and the speedy recovery to a normal life.

All these we asked in JESUS NAME, AMEN”.

    Thanks and God Bless.
