3-6-9 October 19, 2008
My Dearest Co-Workers
I would like to share with you this inspired campaign 3-6-9 (Divine Mercy, Angelus, Rosary) being launched in Southern California through the efforts and inspiration of our SFC brethren. The Spirit is moving powerfully and a deep call to prayer is being sounded, 3-6-9(Divine Mercy, Angelus, Rosary) is a good place for all to start.
I strongly urge you to please consider adopting this campaign in your respective areas.
Please keep our upcoming November elections in your prayers; we have very serious Family and Life initiatives that are on the ballots.
May Our Lady of Guadalupe continue to pray for us and with us as we continue to journey to her Son.
Love and Prayers,
–
Live Simply, Love Generously, Care Deeply, Speak Kindly. Leave the rest to God.

Life Chain 2008 Sends a Powerful Message October 7, 2008
A call was sounded and an amazing loving response overwhelmed major thoroughfare in Jacksonville, which is only one among the hundreds of cities nationwide who participated in the 21st Annual Life Chain held on October 5, 2008. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all who showed their support and visibly made a difference in advancing the Gospel of Life. Thank you CFC, SFC, HOLD, CFC-Youth and KFC for taking the courage to stand up for our Faith and for truly witnessing God’s love to those who absolutely needed to see hope especially during that critical hour. Through the grace of God, everyone who took part enjoyed a wonderful cloudy weather and a numerous thumbs up from tons of onlookers.
It’s disturbing to be living in this world where people don’t respect the gift of life more so the Giver Himself. Our prayerful and loving witness is needed now more than ever. We ask you to continue to join us in the 40 days for Life campaign. There is a round-the-clock prayer vigil outside All Women’s Health Center on University Blvd to send a powerful message to the community about the tragic reality of abortion. This 40-day constant vigil started on September 24 and will end on November 2. After SFC’s initial 3-hour involvement last September 27, more members are committing to be more visible testimonies of love. SFC’s next schedule is on October 11 from 6-7pm. May we ask our brothers and sisters from CFC, HOLD, CFC-Youth to do the same? At least 2 people during an hour are all it takes. Sign up as family or a household anytime between now and November 2.
